At Beck Dental Care, we have an excellent team that is committed to providing each patient with optimum dental health. To that end, our doctors have completed numerous continuing education courses in Endodontics, Periodontics, Cosmetic Dentistry, Implants, Anesthesia and Pain Control, Laser Dentistry, Oral Pathology, and Sterilization and Infection Control. Together, Drs. Beck, Follis and McMasters are a powerful combination, and you can be assured that very experienced, up-to-date dentists are treating you.

Victor Beck, Jr., DDS

Dr. Beck graduated from Columbia State Community College, Summa Cum Laude, in 1970 and from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, honors graduate, in 1973. A year later he opened his dental practice, which today has nine state-of-the-art treatment rooms. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, the Tennessee Dental Association, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.  Dr. Beck is continuously educating himself by taking countless hours of courses on the latest dental advances. Dr. Beck is dedicated to providing outstanding dental care and an exceptional dental experience for his patients.

Dr. Beck and his wife Tricia have two children. Their son, Vic III and wife Juli have two children, Lilli and Charlie. Their son Adam and his wife Holly have one child, John.

Darby Follis, DDS

Dr. Follis is from Clarksville, Arkansas.  She currently lives in Franklin with her husband Chad and daughter Grayson.

Dr. Follis graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arkansas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1996. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 1999. She has taken numerous continuing education courses with a focus on cosmetic and restorative dental procedures. She has a passion for exceeding patient expectations and focuses on making her patients feel comfortable.

She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Association of Women Dentists.

Matthew McMasters, D.D.S

Dr. McMasters grew up in Pulaski.  He graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in 1994.  He graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 2001. Since then, he’s pursued hundreds of hours of continuing education courses, focusing on becoming a premier provider of advanced and comprehensive aesthetic dentistry. 

Dr. McMasters is a member of the American Dental Association, the Tennessee Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.  He joined Beck Dental Care in 2005 and looks forward to a long partnership.

Dr. McMasters and his wife Holly have one child, named Kinsley.

Janet Cothran, Registered Dental Assistant

Janet began her career in dentistry assisting Dr. Beck in 1980.  She is certified in Nitrous Oxide and Coronal Polishing.  She likes to make sure the patient’s visits are as comfortable and soothing as possible.

Janet is a native of Maury County.  She recently married Johnny Cothran and they live in the McCain’s community.  When she is not at work, she enjoys helping her husband farm.  They attend Hopewell Presbyterian Church and Grace Nazarene Church.

Janet has one son, Ryan and a cow named “Bessie”.

Lisa Austin, Registered Dental Assistant

Lisa has been a Registered Dental Assistant since 1989. She is one of the first 24 assistants in the state of TN to become certified in expanded duties. Lisa is also certified in Nitrous Oxide and Coronal Polishing.  She loves to help patients understand their treatment, which includes education and answering questions. Her caring style and sense of humor improve the dental experience immeasurably.

Lisa enjoys spending her free time with her children Morgan and Sam. She is a huge movie fan and enjoys all kinds of music.

Cynthia Huntzinger, Registered Dental Assistant

Cynthia has been in dentistry since 1996.  She is certified in Nitrous Oxide.  She is a wonderfully talented assistant, who helps the patient relax and feel comfortable.  She is extremely energetic and vivacious. She and Dr. Follis make every patient’s visit enjoyable.

She and her husband Barry have one child, Ella Caroline.  They are very involved in their church, First Baptist Spring Hill.

Rachel Parker, Registered Dental Assistant

Rachel has joined our practice as Dr. McMasters assistant she has been in dentistry since 2005.  She grew up in Smyrna and enjoys spending her time with her family.  She and her husband Vaden have one son Cole.  She is will make a wonderful addition to the practice with her friendly smile and knowlede of dentistry.

Susan Regeon, Office Manager

Susan has been with Dr. Beck since 1993 and has over 25 years administrative experience. She has extensive experience in the world of finance and insurance. She is responsible for financial arrangements, accounts receivable, and insurance.  She diligently seeks to provide the best financial options and information for our patients and their needs. She serves as a liaison for the staff and will take care of any of your billing needs.

Susan is married and has 2 children, Kaitlyn and Clint.  She is always on the go with the children and rarely slows down long enough to enjoy any hobbies.

Sandy Bennett, Registered Dental Hygienist

Sandy has been with the practice since 1998 and in dentistry since 1982, serving in several different roles.  She has a vast knowledge of dentistry and is wonderful at talking with patients about needed treatment and helping them understand the importance of their oral health.  Sandy has such a passion for patient care and makes everyone feel comfortable.

She and her husband Andy have 2 children, Kyle and Mandy. She enjoys just being at home and “hanging out” with her family.

Jennifer Coble, Registered Dental Hygienist

Jennifer has been with Beck Dental Care since 2000 and brought 10 years experience in the dental field with her. 

She and her husband Alex were married in 1988.  They have two children, Emily and Alex.  She enjoys watching Alex play baseball and listening to Emily play flute.  She has two German Shepherds, Baron and Duchess.  She and her family attend Pleasant Heights Baptist Church.  Jennifer is a native of Maury County, although her parents were both born and raised in Germany.

Tracey Hines, Registered Dental Hygienist

Tracey has been in our office since 1998. She worked as a Hygiene Assistant before going to school to become a Hygienist.  She has a great personality and a caring spirit.  She loves cats, and has two of her own, a Tuxedo cat named White Socks and a Calico named Sophee.  She enjoys reading and going to the beach, and is a huge sports fan.  She enjoys watching the Titans, UT football, and Tiger Woods.

Lori King, Treatment Coordinator

Lori is a Registered Dental Assistant with 20 years experience. She is certified in Nitrous Oxide and Coronal Polishing.  She received her B.S degree in business from MTSU in 1981. Her compassionate, caring personality, precise attention to detail, and strong desire to help people achieve the smile of their dreams enables her to be the perfect Treatment Coordinator.  If you have any concerns or questions regarding treatment, Lori is your point of contact.  She will be glad to assist you in a courteous, professional manner.

Lori grew up in Lewisburg.  She and her husband Robert have a farm in Mt. Pleasant, where they are raising their two children, Catie and Colin. She also has two cats, Gus and Jasmine.  Lori enjoys reading, sewing, gardening and working on her house.  Her secret ambition is to work at Home Depot!

Lisa Paul, Scheduling Coordinator

Lisa took over this position in January of 2006. She has been with Beck Dental Care since 2000, serving in several different positions. She has extensive knowledge of insurance plans and procedures as a result of her experience in the dental office.  She is prompt, efficient, and respectful of our patients’ time when handling insurance questions. Lisa is constantly continuing her education to help you with all of your scheduling and insurance questions.  She is a Certified Dentrix Trainer. 

Lisa and her husband have a wonderful blended family consisting of five children, Mike (wife Carol), David (wife Kristen), Whitney, Houston, and Rowdy, and two grandchildren, Wesley and Allyson.  She enjoys sewing, playing softball and spending time with her kids; she rarely has a dull moment around her house.

Tanonni Layne, Registered Dental Hygienist

Tanonni has been with us since August of 2005 and has been a wonderful addition to our practice. She graduated from hygiene school in 2003.  She takes pride in building strong partnerships with patients of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures.  She has an outstanding ability to put her patients at ease.  She is very thorough, yet gentle in her treatment.

Tanonni grew up in Hohenwald, where she now resides with her husband Alan and their daughter Fayth.   They enjoy spending their time with church friends as well as their family. In their free time, they enjoy playing with their additional family, the dogs and cats.
