Important COVID-19 Information

To Our Wonderful Patient Family,

We hope you, your family, and your friends are healthy and managing well. You have undoubtedly been closely monitoring the news and feeling the disruptive nature of COVID-19. This disruption has spilled over into the dental profession. We want to encourage you about the measures we have taken and will continue to take to ensure that your relationship with the entire Beck Dental Care of Columbia family continues to be as safe, high-quality, and warm as it has been for the last 40 years. We have always prided ourselves in providing our patients with an incredibly safe environment in accordance with the latest technology and recommendations. While this virus may change the way we all interact in the near future, rest assured that the level of dedication, warmth, and personal service will continue while we take the following precautions.

Based on the recommendations of the CDC, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Tennessee Board of Dentistry, and others, we will be implementing heightened safety measures while COVID-19 remains a risk.

We will abide by the following coronavirus protocol to keep you and our team members safe:
• Patients and visitors will be required to wear a mask or cloth face covering while in the office (other than in an operatory room and being treated by a dental professional). This is in accordance with the CDC recommendations to cover your mouth and nose while around other people in public settings.
• Infrared temperature checks on all patients upon arrival.
• All staff will be wearing Protective Protection Equipment (PPE) beyond what you generally see at a dental office.
• Increased use of plastic barriers on surfaces.
• Limiting the number of patients allowed in the office at a given time.
• Extra time between patient appointments to allow for a complete and thorough disinfecting of the treatment rooms.
• High-efficiency suction and ventilation to reduce aerosols
• Clean and disinfect all public areas frequently, including door handles, chairs, surfaces, and bathrooms.
